Standard offer or another Electrabel contract?

In order to keep its energy contracts as flexible as possible Electrabel offers its customers two options, the standard offer or another type of contract. Signing another contract with Electrabel is always more advantageous as it allows you to benefit from price reductions and practical services. 

• If, following the liberalisation of the energy market, you did not choose an energy supplier and Electrabel is specified in your region as the standard supplier *, the conditions of our basic offer apply. They also apply if you have chosen a contract for an indefinite period which can be cancelled with one month’s notice.
• Electrabel contracts are extended automatically every year. They include price reductions and free services. Electrabel has different offers designed to meet your needs and wishes.

* Since the liberalisation of the energy market, you, the customer have the right to choose the energy supplier you want for your electricity and/or natural gas. A standard supplier is specified for each region. This means that if you have not chosen a supplier, you are automatically allocated to the standard supplier for your region.
